Washington NASA Space Grant Consortium is primarily a higher education program, comitted to strengthening the pipeline into careers in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
We work with college and university faculty across Washington state through mentoring programs, course development and coolaboration in NASA-sponsored research and education projects.
We sponsor the development of new challenging, hands-on college and university courses in NASA-related fields at member institutions statewide.
Our Space Grant Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) identifies capable students and matches them with University of Washington professors conducting research related to the student's field of interest. Faculty may also request support for specific students.
Proposals for grant collaborations and course development should be directed to the Washington NASA Space Grant Consortium director.
